BrightPath Labs builds tools that help K-12 teachers create personalized learning paths for students. Our platform is used by 4,000+ teachers across 30 states. We're a 22-person team, fully remote, backed by Reach Capital and Owl Ventures. You'll own the front end of our core teacher dashboard — the main surface teachers spend 2–3 hours a day in. We ship weekly, do zero-downtime deploys, and have a 94% uptime SLA. You'll work directly with our product designer and 2 backend engineers. We use React (18), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, React Query, and Vite. Our design system is custom-built and you'll help evolve it. We have a solid test suite (Vitest + Playwright) and expect new features to ship with tests.
- 4+ years with React (hooks, context, performance) - Strong TypeScript — you catch bugs at the type level - Experience with complex state management (not just useState) - Can translate Figma designs to pixel-precise UI without hand-holding - Writes tests as a natural part of shipping, not an afterthought - Bonus: Accessibility experience (WCAG 2.1), data visualization (Recharts or similar)
